starting fresh.

baby! baby! baby!

we are so thrilled to be pregnant again!!!!! we are extremely grateful, and hopeful. I am about 16 weeks along. we will monitor this pregnancy very closely - with an ultrasound once a month. the doctors have been wonderful! we are so thankful to have a great team of doctors!! we have our next ultrasound (where we hope to find out if the little one is a baby girl/boy) in 2 1/2 weeks...I can't wait!!!!! 

the girls are very excited for the baby - always kissing my belly, and talking to the baby. I often ask the girls after naps if they had happy dreams...usually they tell me they dreamt about balloons or lollipops...yesterday I asked Adelie and her eyes lit up and she said 'yes!!!! I dreamed about the baby!!!' so sweet! we are so grateful for this little baby, and for all the prayers & love.

the best of summer nights.

we had such a fun night tonight at the Twins game!!! we sat in some sweet seats in the outfield...and loved it!!! there's something so great about a MN summer night & a baseball game! we loved being with grandma & grandpa and Ryan & Heather & their darling boys!!! such a fun night.

I have been so excited to make these barrettes!! Finally made them this afternoon! They're so bright & sweet! Adelie has already requested more!! Makes me smile.

nighttime adventure

life is so fun with kids! we had a fun little adventure tonight...the girls got butterfly nets and we went on a hunt!! we didn't find any butterflies...but we did chase some squirrels, and Kennedi collected an impressive pile of leaves! so fun!

we are celebrating Nate's birthday all weekend! we are up at the lake and loving life!! it's so beautiful up here. it's a little chilly today, but I kind of love the crisp air and chilly wind! Nate had fun golfing this morning & the girls are having a great time exploring. Adelie and I went on a fun little walk this morning, and then we made flower crowns - which was so adorable!! I love my sweet girls!

berries & candyland

we had another wonderful saturday together. we headed back up to the berry patch - this time to pick raspberries and blueberries! we loved it. after a quick stop in marine on st.croix, we headed into stillwater for the afternoon. our favorite stop was the candyshop!! hard not to smile spending the day picking berries and hanging out in an old fashioned candy shop, picking out sugary treats!!
