water babies.

Adelie, Kennedi, and I were lucky to spend a long weekend with Nate. He took the day off today - and we were happy to have him home. We spent the afternoon at the pool. Perfect day in the sun! The water & sunshine felt great!! After a quick afternoon trip to the doctor for the girls' 2yr/1yr wellness checks, we came home...took a nice (hot!) family walk on the trails behind our townhome...and headed back to the pool! Adelie was swimming great tonight in her little yellow tube/floatie. I am so proud of her! First full day at the pool & she's totally trying to swim. Such a great day. Nate & I both felt like we were on vacation. So relaxing...and so much fun! As I'm typing this, the swimsuits and pool towels are back in the washing machine...getting clean for tomorrow! And the girls are sound asleep!

we are looking forward to lots of pool days ahead! we love the pool at our townhome! we had a fun time with grandpa & the pool last weekend....nate is taking a long weekend this weekend...so we'll hit the pool for sure! can't wait.

moving weekend!!!!!!!!!

we are the happiest family! we moved into our new home this weekend - and everyone in the cartwright family is happy!!!!! we celebrated with some 'cheers!' with french fries tonight...the girls love it here. we are super excited for our new home...and the memories to come!

moving on up!

we are loving, loving, loving our new home! we 'camped out' last week in our awesome new tent (in our master bedroom...all 4 of us!)- I will never forget this time in our life! so exciting! we are absolutely loving our new place. it's a ton of work trying to pack & unpack & keep a 1 year old & 2 year old happy...but we are having a great time. adelie loves being our little 'moving helper'...and kennedi loves tearing everything apart! these girls are so lucky to have each other. so sweet together.
